Job Summary

The Warehouse In-Charge will be responsible for the overall management of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, organizing, issuing, and monitoring inventory. The role requires maintaining accurate stock records, ensuring proper storage conditions, minimizing wastage, and coordinating closely with Procurement, Operations, Kitchen, and Accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations and ensure smooth receiving and dispatching of goods.
Receive incoming food, beverages, packaging materials, cleaning supplies, equipment, and other items.
Verify quantity, quality, expiry dates, and specifications against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Maintain proper storage and organization of all warehouse items.
Follow FIFO/FEFO principles, especially for food and perishable products.
Monitor stock levels and inform the concerned department about low-stock and fast-moving items.
Maintain accurate inventory records, stock registers, GRNs, issue notes, and transfer records.
Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure proper temperature and storage conditions for chilled, frozen, and dry items.
Monitor expiry dates and minimize product damage, spoilage, and wastage.
Issue materials to restaurants/outlets only against approved requests.
Coordinate with Procurement regarding deliveries, shortages, damages, and rejected items.
Coordinate with Accounts for documentation related to invoices, GRNs, and supplier deliveries.
Ensure the warehouse is clean, hygienic, organized, and compliant with F&B food-safety requirements.
Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and cleaning materials separately from food products.
Supervise warehouse helpers and assign daily duties.
Maintain proper documentation for damaged, expired, returned, or rejected products.
Assist during internal and external stock audits.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory and warehouse reports as required.
Ensure company property and stock are properly secured and prevent unauthorized access.
Follow all company policies, health & safety procedures, and warehouse SOPs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2–4 years of relevant warehouse experience, preferably in F&B/restaurant operations.
Good knowledge of inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, stock counting, and warehouse procedures.
Good computer skills; experience with inventory/ERP/POS systems is an advantage.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records and reports.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
