We’re Hiring: Joinery / Wood Work Draftsman at a wood factory in Kuwait:
We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Joinery Draftsman to join our woodwork factory team.
The ideal candidate should be able to work independently and prepare detailed shop drawings for all types of joinery and woodwork items, based on architectural drawings, specifications, and project requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings and production drawings.
• Develop accurate construction details for all types of joinery works.
• Prepare drawings for doors, wall paneling, wardrobes, kitchens, cabinets, counters, furniture, reception desks, and other custom joinery items.
• Produce detailed plans, elevations, sections, and assembly details.
• Coordinate drawings with site conditions, architectural requirements, materials, and hardware.
• Prepare drawings suitable for factory production and site installation.
• Review drawings carefully to ensure accuracy, dimensions, materials, and construction details.
• Coordinate with the production and project teams to resolve technical and detailing requirements.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Joinery / Woodwork Draftsman.
• Strong knowledge of joinery construction, materials, hardware, and manufacturing methods.
• Ability to understand architectural and interior design drawings.
• Ability to prepare complete joinery details independently with minimum supervision.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Experience in a woodwork factory / joinery or interior fit-out company is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under project deadlines.
