Description

Apex Energy Company for General Trading & Contracting W.L.L., Kuwait is looking for a Junior Design Engineer / Mechanical Draftsman to join our Engineering Department.
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 2–3 years for Degree holders / 3–5 years for Diploma holders
Location: Kuwait
Key Requirements:
- Good working knowledge of AutoCAD
- Experience preparing 2D mechanical/manufacturing drawings
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Knowledge of mechanical components, materials, threads, dimensions, tolerances, fits and basic GD&T
- Ability to prepare and understand BOMs
- Understanding of manufacturing/machining processes
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Oil & Gas / drilling equipment / mechanical manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of API 6A, 16A, 16C, 7-1, 5B, ASME and ASTM preferred
- SolidWorks / 3D CAD and machine-shop exposure will be an advantage
