We are looking for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations, maintaining food quality, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and leading the kitchen team efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.

-Maintain cleanliness and organization across all kitchen areas. -Oversee the overall production operations of the Bakery and Central Kitchen Production (CKP) departments.

-Lead research and development (R&D) of new products, recipe development, and product costing.

-Manage inventory, control food wastage, and implement cost-saving measures.

-Ensure all products meet company quality standards and specifications.

-Maintain food safety, hygiene, and kitchen safety standards in compliance with company policies.

-Manage inventory system operations, including item code creation, stock receiving, stock counting, and variance monitoring. -Report production performance, operational updates, and issues to the Production Manager.

-Train, mentor, and develop production staff to improve performance and productivity.

- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth workflow during operations.

-Allocate staff duties and evaluate employee performance to ensure operational efficiency.

-Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Plan and manage staff leave schedules to maintain adequate production coverage.
