Gulf Center United Industrial Equipment Co. is urgently seeking skilled and experienced welders to join our Mechanical Engineering Team in Kuwait.
🔧 OPEN POSITIONS
🔹 ARC Welders (SMAW): 5 Vacancies
🔹 MIG Welders (GMAW): 2 Vacancies
Total Vacancies: 7 Welders
📍 Location: Kuwait
⚙️ Industry: Mechanical Engineering, Stainless Steel & Structural Fabrication
⏱️ Joining: Immediate joiners preferred
👷 Eligibility: Candidates currently residing in Kuwait
💰 SALARY & BENEFITS
Monthly Salary: KWD 200–250
Salary will depend on the candidate’s experience, technical skills, and qualifications.
Other Benefits: As per applicable Kuwait Labour Law and company policy.
🛠️ JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. ARC Welders – 5 Positions
• Perform ARC welding (SMAW) on carbon steel and stainless steel materials.
• Carry out welding work on structural steel, piping, tanks, and fabricated components as required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Prepare welding joints, including cleaning, beveling, fit-up, and alignment.
• Perform welding in the required positions and maintain weld quality according to project specifications.
• Inspect completed welds, identify defects, and carry out necessary repairs in accordance with approved procedures.
• Follow applicable quality standards, project requirements, and HSE procedures.
2. MIG Welders – 2 Positions
• Perform MIG welding (GMAW) on carbon steel and stainless steel components.
• Weld fabricated parts, structural components, and other assemblies according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Set up and operate MIG welding machines, selecting suitable welding parameters and consumables.
• Prepare metal surfaces, ensure proper joint fit-up, and maintain accurate alignment.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure the required quality and finish.
• Maintain welding equipment and follow workplace safety and housekeeping standards.
✅ QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant professional welding experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience in the specific welding process applied for: ARC (SMAW) or MIG (GMAW).
• Experience working with carbon steel (CS) and stainless steel (SS).
• Experience in structural steel fabrication, piping, tanks, or oil and gas projects is preferred.
• Ability to read technical drawings and understand welding symbols and WPS requirements.
• Valid welding qualifications such as 3G, 4G, or 6G, where applicable to the position and project.
• Knowledge of welding quality requirements and workplace health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures.
• Previous KOC approval or steel factory approval is preferred, where applicable.
• Candidates must be currently residing in Kuwait.
• Immediate availability to join is preferred.
