Location: Kuwait Project: KNPC – Oil Spill Response Vacancies: 1 Minimum Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline. • Minimum 10 years of experience in marine oil spill response activities. • Must possess a valid Kuwait licence for operating/driving a boat. Key Responsibilities: • Act as the primary facilitator during oil spill incidents. • Mobilize and coordinate response teams, equipment and resources. • Provide technical guidance on oil spill containment, recovery and shoreline protection. • Ensure the safety of all personnel during response operations. • Develop and maintain oil spill contingency and response plans. • Conduct risk assessments and recommend preventive measures. • Coordinate oil spill drills, training and simulation exercises. • Prepare incident reports and documentation for KNPC submissions. • Monitor response performance and implement lessons learned. Preferred Skills: • Strong leadership and emergency coordination skills. • Proficiency in report writing and data analysis. • Good command of English.
