Position: School Cleaning Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the cleaning activities of the school premises, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards are always maintained.
• Manage and lead a team of cleaning staff, providing guidance, support, and training when needed.
• Schedule cleaning tasks, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with cleaning protocols and address any issues promptly.
• Oversee the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, making requisitions as necessary.
• Collaborate with the school administration and other staff to maintain a safe and clean environment conducive to learning.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety among cleaning staff.
• Maintain open communication with the HR department and report any concerns or issues that may arise within the cleaning team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
? Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional relevant certifications or training in cleaning and sanitation will be a plus.
? Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role in a school or similar setting is preferred.
? Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a team of cleaning staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
? Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in overseeing cleaning operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
? Communication: Good communication skills, fluency in English, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and school administration.
? Physical Fitness: The role involves physical tasks, so the candidate must be physically fit and capable of performing cleaning duties.
? Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to schedule and prioritize cleaning tasks effectively.
