Department: Engineering / Production
Location: Precast Concrete Factory (RECAFCO)

Key Responsibilities:
Design & Technical Coordination

Review and interpret structural and architectural drawings.

Coordinate with design consultants and structural engineers on shop drawings and connection details.

Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and project specifications.

Production Support

Provide technical guidance to production teams during mold preparation, casting, and curing.

Approve production drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS).

Troubleshoot issues in concrete mix design, reinforcement placement, and element dimensions.

Quality Control

Monitor the quality of precast elements in accordance with QA/QC standards.

Conduct inspections during and after production (e.g., visual inspection, dimensional checks).

Coordinate with QA/QC teams for testing (slump, cube strength, etc.).

Planning & Scheduling

Support production planning by providing estimated times, quantities, and material requirements.

Align production activities with project timelines and delivery schedules.

Support in logistics planning for precast element delivery and installation.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure all engineering activities follow safety standards.

Maintain documentation and records in compliance with ISO, local regulations, and client audits.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or Structural Engineering.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in precast concrete production or related field.

Strong knowledge of precast construction methods, concrete technology, and structural detailing.

Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, and other design/drafting software.

Familiar with international codes (ACI, BS, Eurocode, etc.).

Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
