Description

We are looking for a skilled Senior Landscape Architect who works as part of a Landscape design team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Coordinate and lead the assigned team of Landscape Architects and Technicians on a daily basis and ensure that design excellence is achieved throughout.
Develop a thorough design philosophy, effectively contributing to the inception and the development of a project.
Develop a thorough project delivery strategy.
Produce detailed scope of services for specialist sub-consultant.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor's or master’s degree in architecture engineering or a related field.

A minimum 15 years of experience in a related field.

Proficiency in the following software packages; Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, AutoCAD,
InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup

Previous experience leading engagement processes with community to develop open space and
recreation areas.

Strong analytical, conceptual and decision-making skills.
Evidence of a portfolio of work that illustrates the full design process inclusive of; defining and
development of a brief, feasibility analysis, site analysis, community and stakeholder engagement,

development of opinion of costs, concept design, report writing, detailed design and documentation,

tender specification writing, contract administration.

Experience developing and coordinating grant applications.
