Description

Preparation of Drawings – Develop detailed civil and structural drawings such as foundations, equipment supports, pipe racks, roads, paving, and drainage layouts in accordance with project specifications and refinery standards.

Coordination with Engineers – Work closely with civil/structural engineers to convert design calculations and sketches into accurate drawings, ensuring constructability and compliance with engineering requirements.

Updating and Revising Drawings – Incorporate design changes, engineering comments, and client/consultant feedback into drawings while maintaining revision control and documentation.

Compliance with Standards – Ensure all drafting outputs adhere to refinery-specific standards (e.g., API, ASME, ASTM, company standards) as well as applicable codes, drafting guidelines, and CAD protocols.

Interface and Support – Coordinate with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, piping, instrumentation) for clash-free layouts, provide drawings for construction packages, and support site team with as-built documentation.
