Job Title: Nesting & Material Controller I Job Type: Full- Time

Nesting Responsibilities:
• Create and manage nesting programs for CNC machines ( plasma, Oxy- Fuel ) using Sigma NEST & STRUMIS software.
• Review and analyze technical drawings and CAD files to prepare nesting layouts.
• Optimize material usage by reducing scrap and improving cutting times.
• Collaborate with design, planning, and production teams to ensure nesting aligns with production schedules and material availability.
• Update and maintain the Sigma NEST database & STRUMIS for part revisions, material specs, and nesting files.
• Troubleshoot nesting- related issues during production and coordinate with machine operators to ensure smooth operations.

Material Control Responsibilities:
• Manage inventory levels to ensure the timely availability of materials required for production.
• Coordinate with procurement, planning, and production teams to ensure material requirements are met.
• Track material consumption and identify discrepancies between planned vs. actual usage.
• Perform periodic stock audits and reconcile physical inventory with system records.
• Identify and address issues related to obsolete, slow- moving, or excess materials.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials in compliance with safety and organizational standards.
• Maintain inventory records and ensure accurate data entry in the ERP or material management system.

General Qualifications:
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in CNC nesting and/or material control in fabrication/manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of SigmaNEST and STRUMIS ERP (or similar nesting/material management software).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and CAD files.
• Solid understanding of steel fabrication processes, cutting methods, and inventory management practices.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
