Purchasing Representative Required – Applicants Must Be Currently Residing in Kuwait
A leading company specializing in restaurants, catering, and food services is looking for:
Purchasing Representative
Requirements & Responsibilities:
Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably within the restaurant and food industry.
Experience in purchasing food products, beverages, packaging materials, and operational supplies.
Salary: KD 500–600, depending on experience and qualifications.
Sourcing suppliers and negotiating prices and terms.
Reviewing quotations and comparing prices and quality before purchasing.
Issuing and following up on purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery.
Monitoring inventory and coordinating with the warehouse and management to ensure required items are available.
Following up with suppliers, invoices, and outstanding payments in coordination with the Accounting Department.
Ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate for the best prices.
Good knowledge of local market prices and suppliers in Kuwait.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
A valid Kuwaiti driving license is preferred.
Ability to use a vehicle for purchasing-related errands and supplier visits.
Good command of Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
