Job Description
We are seeking an Accountant cum Payment Collection Representative to manage invoice follow-ups, ensure timely payment collections, and maintain accurate accounting records. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills and a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Follow up with customers on issued invoices to confirm payment status
• Monitor and track invoice settlements (paid, partially paid, and outstanding)
• Coordinate with customers to resolve payment delays, disputes, or discrepancies
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, collections, and aging reports
• Send payment reminders, follow-up communications, and account statements to customers
• Liaise with the finance/accounts team regarding collection status
• Ensure compliance with company payment policies and timelines
Skills & Qualifications
• Basic knowledge of accounting and invoicing processes
• Strong follow-up, communication, and negotiation skills
• High attention to detail with good record-keeping abilities
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Ability to interact professionally with customers regarding payments
Preferred Experience
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or collections.
