A reputed company is looking for SOC monitoring engineer -L1(Tier 1),below is the job description.
• Monitor security alerts and events (SIEM, EDR, firewall, I DS/IPS)
• Perform initial triage and validate alerts
• Escalate incidents to L2/L3 as per SOPs
• Log and document incidents accurately in ticketing systems
• Ensure SLA adherence for response and escalation
• Conduct basic investigation and correlation of events
• Monitor security dashboards continuously (24×7 shift)
• Generate routine reports and maintain logs
• Follow incident response procedures and playbooks
• Communicate with internal teams for incident updates
Candidates should have minimum 3 to 4 years working
experience.
