Position Open: ELV Maintenance Technician
Number of Vacancy: 4
Job Location: Kuwait
Job Type: Full-time
Assignment: Onshore or offshore.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of ELV and electronic lighting systems.
- Clean equipment; inspect cables, connectors and enclosures; report defects and deterioration.
- Check video, recordings, access-control devices, power supplies and telephone/data connections.
- Clean lighting components; check batteries, charging circuits, seals and normal operation.
- Replace approved devices, batteries and cables; restore and test under the engineer/supervisor.
- Assist authorized equipment maintenance; follow safe isolation and approved working procedures.
- Record readings, faults, parts and work completed; maintain test tools and report unresolved defects.

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS:
- ITI certificate or Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunication.
- At least 6 years of hands-on ELV experience, including fault-finding and maintenance.
- Able to maintain CCTV and telephone/data cabling and follow approved working procedures.

SKILL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Cable tracing, RJ45 termination, fiber patching, connector cleaning and reading wiring diagrams.
- Able to use a multimeter and cable tester; interpret readings and identify power/cable faults.
- Basic IP addressing, PoE, access-control checks and DC battery/charging-circuit servicing.
- Able to follow English work instructions, complete maintenance records and work in a site team.

OTHER ADVANTAGEOUS QUALIFICATIONS (BUT NOT REQUIRED):
- Hands-on experience maintaining electronic lighting, control circuits and power supplies.
- Relevant manufacturer training, fiber-testing skills or equipment maintenance experience.

COMPENSATION:
- Proposed salary: KD 350 monthly, subject to final agreement.
