A well reputed company in Kuwait is looking for a Project Manager (Electrical Engineering with MEP

Core Electrical MEP Responsibilities
? Design lighting, power, security, and fire alarm systems related to commercial and industrial
projects for both new construction and renovation.
? Electrical load calculations, voltage drop calculations, load calculations, and conductor /
raceway sizing.
? Electrical equipment selections
? Layout and design of electrical system floor plans, costing and specifications (work in
AutoCAD / REVIT)
? Provide bid and construction phase services including reviewing bids, pricing for tenders,
writing technical documentation.
? Perform code review, site visits, attend site meetings and punch lists.
? Design lighting fixture layouts, fixture specifications, schedules, and lighting controls.
? Coordinate with electrical utility companies as may be required to coordinate new services
and upgrade existing electrical services.
? Review shop drawings and attend meetings with contractors.
Project Management Responsibilities
? Demonstrate ability to manage concurrently multi-discipline projects involving other senior
engineers and subcontractors.
? Responsible for resource planning, cost estimating, cost control, and risk management.
? Provide technical leadership for site team for managing construction Project.
? Prepare proposals independently for clients.
? Mange subcontractor performances and steer them to complete the Project on schedule.
Requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 15+ years of professional experience.
? Worked as a Project Manager for at least 3+ years having executed multi discipline projects.
? Experience in designing and developing MEP projects from concept to completion.
? Ability to perform engineering calculations, specify, size, and layout power, lighting,
security, and fire alarm systems.
? Kuwait Society of Engineers Valid Registration
? PMI Certification is preferred.
? PE registration is a plus, but not required.
? Being LEED accredited is a plus, but not required.

? Knowledge of electrical and building codes and standards, including National Electrical
Code (NEC), NFPA-72, Energy Code, and International Building Code (IBC)
? Ability to design electrical construction documents using AutoCAD/RIVET.
? Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD required.
